The most powerful thing a hand can do

I was on a taxi ride home with a friend when I suddenly realised how small his hands are. Rather amused, I commented that it was "disgraceful" that his hands are actually as small as mine!

Usually outdone by my teasings, he returned with an unexpected retort "Small is ok. I think the most powerful thing a hand can do is to offer comfort".

I was wowed by his remark. Nicely put and how true!
